I think the deposits should be 100% unrefundable. Once you are in your in. lets get a pay-pal address so we can see who is deff serious.
As far as the tech card and entrance fee, i say just pay it at the gate rather then take it out of the pot. everything looks good. Lets whipe the list clear and get going.

I think paypal would make the deposits easiest and an even $1k with entry makes things easy. I think it definitely needs to be non refundable. Too many people talk big and flake out, this will keep people serious and if they flake out then it still goes in the pot. Should we add 3% for paypal or take 3% off the top? Or since we're not in a huge hurry, E-Check from Paypal is only $5. I think the racers should cover the paypal fees. If you use E Check it only costs you $5, if you want to use a CC you cover the 3%.

Should I just use my paypal account? I could then transfer the Money into an ING account, and it would collect a little interest. Let me know.

Paypal Deposits to sxebrian@aol.com
Once money hits my account, I will transfer it to a new ING account setup just for the deposits. Either E-Check (Add $5.00) or regualr deposits add 3%. Remember, this is non-refundable unless the race does not happen (which it will). I don't want people coming after me personally for refunds if they can't make it. We are in...deposit sent.
What should we do to get the list of contingency sponsors rolling with their money/product etc ? i would like to put up some money or product for a particular feat. i think we need to get the money and product to a central location as well so that we don't have contingency sponsors backing out at the last minute. ..also -- anyone interested in seeing if we can get a hotel deal setup -- group rate for all of us coming into town Modified by Innes at 11:58 AM 6/5/2008

are all racers required to run contingency stickers to qualify? If so I may put up a small bounty for the best 60' or something like that.

I agree. So far we have interest from:
Justice Racing Engines Cisco Performance IPG Parts NRG Tech AVID Need someone to reach out to Garrett, I have been in touch with BW. Maybe we could get Exedy and all of the other previous sponsors of the class on board too. Interested parties need to reach out to me via PM or email (sxebrian@aol.com). For cash prizes, I'll keep them in the same account and give an envelope for each accomplishment (with the cash inside) to the payout lady at etown. For product, I'd like an official certificate or document sent to me at my house for the said product they are offering. Also Contingency Stickers need to be sent to me as well, please send more than enough (I'd say 25 or so) PM for address. Thanks, Brian

Awesome! Way to pull through and make it happen, I'll definitely be there to watch this go down. I know I'm new around here but if there is anything I can do to help just hit me up.
