Saw them live quite q while ago.Unfortunately(for them) the Roots opened for them.After seeing a Roots set ATCQ was obviously not on their level.Good but they're not the Roots live.

they are both good groups, but i give de la the longevity and the first 2 albums are dea on classics. Tribe is right behind at 1a. Native tongue...De La , Tribe, Moni & Black Sheep. When rap was not hip hop and had positive messages. Bring back those days. hip hop is dead!

I think people only know tribe cause they got more exposure. I love'em both, but I was a De La fan way before I was a tribe fan. Plus Which group is still making great albums? That would be De La once again.

I remember when these groups/artist was played on mainstream radio/videos and everybody loved it. These days the radio is so full of shit. Have radio show host trying to act like they want kids to get ahead in life and don't do this or that, then after they get done trying to get their ratings up, they go and throw a R.Kelly sex song on the air. What kind of messege are these people trying to send.

Bring back real hiphop/music that has something meaningful to it. Not just some stupid song to do some new stupid dance to.

I still think De La are the better of the 2, and more lyrical. lol

Bit it don't matter either way, Cause the music era blows out all the stuff being played on radio today.
