need only experienced tuners or personal experience people to respond..thanks,...so pretty much im upgrading my turbo kit to go bigger on my built gsr 500+hp race gas,(in garage).I have a stock jdm b16 just to cruz around and want to boost it like 10psi,dont care if it blows, question is im buying 1000cc for built gsr, will they work and idle ok on a stock b16 with same turbo parts that are going on my gsr soon...I dont want to by 550 just to boost the b16 but if 1000cc too much let me know....(im boosting it no matter what)..thanks..

1000s will run and idle fine, dont buy the 550's

you clearly have no intention of taking anyones advice. your not going to buy anything other then 1000cc and your boosting the motor no matter what so why ask?

1000's can easily be made to idle, if someone knows what they are doing.

well if majority of people were to say 1000 are too much, i would take that into consideration and mabe settle for 750 or 880 until i put the gsr in and tune for race gas ill switch to 1000cc..But it would be more a hassle, so im seeing what people think, thanks for the responses...more would help..

i have 1000cc's in my DSM, with just a quick fuel scale of the original maps the car idled very well at 14.5-14.8:1 AFR ~1050rpm.

I wouldn't put 1000cc injectors in there.. you can easily find a used set of 550cc and utilize those until your making over 500whp. 500whp is just on the edge of a 880cc injector... You can probably get more still!

Your spray pattern will be garbage on lower WHP with the injector duty cycle so low.
