Thanks for the info. I believe the offset on the wheels is 48..So they're NOT to wide and they wont stick out to far? Anyone have a pic of 225 45s on ther 5th gen? Thanks again.

It will not be too wide, that I know for a fact. BUT the overall diameter of the tire will be increased and that may cause rubbing, along with throwing off your speedometer and slowing down your car a bit. I wouldn't go with that tire size on a Prelude.

The rear will rub a lot. The front will rub under hard turns.

Thanks for all your inputs, but i think im going to get them still and try them out. Sh*t for the price of them i cant let them go. (4 bfg g-force sports almost new $100) If im not happy i can just resell them.. He used them for about 2 months b4 he got rid of his car. They still have the little rubber hairs on the side walls.

both sides rub for me. the rears rub the rear bumper, but u can cut it off or sand it down to make it fit. the fronts rub for me also, but only when going up driveways or speed bumps. not sure of the offset, but i'm on aspec rsx rims.

225/45/17 IS TOO BIG. Not only will that size offset your speedo and slow down your car, but it will also look retarded on there.

Anyone running or know anyone running 225 / 40 / 17? That keeps the overall diameter closer to stock. Few tire makers make this size but you can find it.

If you are going to do this anyways, try rolling your fenders
