Can anyone give me a little help? I have the factory remote for my 98 prelude but have no idea how to program it. Does anyone know how to do this? If so it would be greatly appreciated.

I should be able to get the instructions tomorrow during business hours. I sell and program quite a few factory remotes so it shouldn't be a problem getting it.

Programming instructions for 98 prelude
1: hold your key in your right hand and remote in your left hand, insert key into ignition
2: has to be performed three times (each a,b,c cycle within 5 seconds)
2a: turn key to ONposition (not to start, just to on)
2b: press and release UNLOCK button on the transmitter
2c: turn ignition switch back toLOCK position but do not remove the key
3: within 5 seconds turn the key back to the on position
4: press and release the unlock button on the same transmitter, the power door locks will cycle to show that you are in programming mode
5: within 10 seconds press and release the unlock button on the same transmitter. the door locks should cycle again
6: repeat step five for any other transmitters you have
7: turn key to lock position to exit program mode
