What sanctioning body or rule set do you need to comply with? I recommend different fabricators for different purposes.

This question would be better suited for the Roadracing forum.

I have this boltin installed in my whip and couldn't be more satisfied. Good welds, tight bends, and good overall fitment.

Why would it be better suited here in the roadrace forum if it's for a show car?? makes no sense. You won't find anyone here running a Cusco cage as they are just that show cages and are not legal in any series.

To the orignal poster if the car is gonna be driven on the street PLEASE PLEASE do not get a 6 point. Get a 4 point(backhalf only). Your skull will thank you. If you have a 6 point in your car and you get in an accident your brain will be splattered all over the car when they make contact with the bar.

Anyways from what I've been told by one of the best cage builders in Toronto is that the amount of points is how many times it touches the chassis.

It won't help your handling unless it's a well designed custom cage. Even then, it won't do much for street driving. If anything it will make your car slower due to the additional weight in addition to giving you lower gas mileage.
