Alright, I have Falken Azenis RT615 on my car now but they are bald and I need new tires for this weekend's track event.

I am on budget and kind want a tire that is gonna last 15,000-20,000 miles. I know the falkens will not last that long after multiple autox and track events.

Just wondering if anyone has used either the NeoGen's or T1R's and how they hanlded? I've had the NeoGen on my car just for street driving and they were great.

Ya I've had them on the road and think they will be ok for a few times. I would love to have the Azenis again, but I can't afford a 2nd set of tires this year.

I haven't used the t1-r, but I had the old t1-s. It did great. Good grip on track. Predictable. Just keep an eye on temps or they will get greasy and go away on you. I got about 20k miles on them or so, with 3 HPDEs. However I didn't actually start to go fast until the 3rd HPDE and that was the one where I had to slow down because the tires were giving up on me.

I'm running azenis now. They are *much* sticker than the toyos were.

I don't think that you will be happy with the toyo on track since you have already used azenis.

You might want to take a look at the new dunlop people have been talking about.

oh well I had to bite the bullet today and ordered a set of Azenis RT-615 today. Got a good deal. Gotta love discounttiredirect.com $360 shipped for 215/45-16.

I too have done HPDE's on the NeoGens (205-40-17)....actually pleasently surprised by how well they did.

I like them better than my current Yokohama S-drives (225-35-17)
