check the coil if not that then your icm.....

Ah he has a distributor harness, I thought he meant ECU harness. My fault.

Will the ECU i'm using, OBD1, not run the motor? The motor is OBD2..No, I do not have a jumper harness for the ECU, I have one for the distributer.

bump..... do i need to buy an obd2 ecu and a jumper harness for it so that it will start my car??

i've checked the wiring over and over again, everything is wired properly, i put in a new engine wiring harness too, still not getting any spark..

If you dont see any spark out off any of the wires then its your rotor from the distributor.
