we started da engine at da starter and it started. but when we tried 2 strt da engine w/da key, it would not start. dash lights came on though. what would be da problem? had accidental frontal collision. pretty bad to da point where air bags were deployed. someone checked and said there wuz a wire dat is touching da ground or could be a wire dat is pinched, problem from accident. or could b somewhere 2 da relay box, i guess. please help. wat do u think it could b?

Could be the immobilizer unit was damaged. And your post would be a lot easier to read if actually used "the" instead of "da".

3 main components in the starting circuit that can go bad... apparently ur starters fine... if its not ur ignition switch, its the clutch pedal position sensor, which obviously is on the top of the clutch pedal... but anyway, did u check all ur fuses? start with the easy stuff

took me forever to read that and then i had to go back try to remember what i had read


^but yeah i was going to say something about the clutch sensor.......you did push the clutch in right?
