I bought a rear bumper online and gave them the paint code for the bumper "NH623M".

A month later i receiver the bumper and the paint is wrong. They claim that I gave them the wrong paint code. I just sent them pics of the paint code on the car and also my VIN number. They claim that I did not give them the additional code "A". WTF, how was I suppose to know that? Aren't they liable for not asking me for additional codes? Especially if they know there is more than one NH623M???

Am I at fault for this mistake? How should I go about handling this? Let me know. Thanks!

Well my Accord is B92P on the Door. You have to add the A if A is the 11th number of your vin. Its always the paint code and the 11th on the Vin. But if you gave a company the code and the vin they should be smart enough to figure it out. Not like your the one whos painting it.

Definitely not your fault. If they needed MORE information, they should have asked for it.
