wheel weight question bogart weld« » Reply  Edit

I have a set of bogart import flystars 13" with 25 inch slicks, and a set of weld import magnums 13" my question is which are lighter? I don't really care about the looks.

It seems that the bogarts are lighter but I can't be for sure since I have slicks on them.

I weighed these 2 awhile back, but seriously man, its like 1/2lb to 1lb difference. Its not much. At most, all drag wheels weight about 2-3lbs from each other.

The tires themselves are heavier than the wheels in most cases so to save 1lb is not even that worth it. Just pick which you like best.

I like the way the flystars look, but the welds just look baller.

Its your personal choice man. In my opinion, 1-2 lbs difference on the wheel isnt going to be a significant difference.

From what I know, the Import magnums are lighter, thats if you dont use a spacer. In that case, if a spacer is used, the Bogart Dragon Fly Star are lighter.
