ok,so im a vet w/DSM's. but as you all know they break as fast as they run.so i picked up a low miles 99 si.super clean and BONE stock. now im not a complete newb.did the basics, I-H-E,rims,shifter,tint ect. i want to stay N/a but tuning is new to me with hondas. i have v-afc which i think will be enough and was looking at crower cams http://www.crower.com/cgi-bin/...02A-2
using the stock rev limit for now,or maybe spending the extra dough for the springs/retainers. so heres my question. what kind of tuning am i looking at running a cam setup like this?what will i need or maybe you have a better cam in mind for a strict DD. thanks for the help and be easy on the new guy.never know when that might keep me from writing you a ticket.......

OBD1 conversion with a chipped P28 ECU running Neptune, Hondata, or Crome. The VAFC will be fine for minor bolt-ons but once you start adding cams, I would recommend stepping up to a chipped ECU.

As far as cam suggestions, what kind of power are you looking for? Are you planning on raising the compression as well?

no power goals, just a good runner.figured stage 1 or 2 would be ok for my needs.180-200 whp was my goal.so i guess my buddy with his 99 ex would be better off with my v-afc since hes only going to run a stock cam on his d16y8.
