ok so I swapped struts with my friend a while back, he has an 01 civic ex and I have an 02 civic ex. When we swapped I forgot to swap my bearings over, and his struts that he traded me doesnt have bearings. If I retrieve my 02 bearings from him, will I need my 02 top hats, or will they work fine with the 01 top hats I most likely have now?

The tophats are the same in composition.

At first that's what I thought, but I called up the honda dealer and there is a different part number for the 01.
