replace them with a set of new oem plugs and wires.. cant go wrong with that.

ive got bosch platinum +4 and magnacore wires in my EM1, and same thing in every other car ive owned, no problems, great spark

So just from the quick response from everybody, I'm guessing there's no benefit of buying lower resistance wires then at this point???

Can't go wrong on both plugs and wires with NGK.

yeah man NGK ftw they are the best as far as i have seen and they are pretty cheap. and i have msd wires and i havent had any problems with them.

i dunno if your timing belt cover has the sticker but most sohc timing belt covers say NGK blah blah.. NGK is oem.. its whats from the factory.. bosch is european.. put them in your vw

There really is no point to running lower impedence wires and the multi-tip spark plugs. If your car is stock and in good running condition, you should have no issues with stock replacement parts. I know how tempting "better-than-stock" parts are, but there's no use paying for something which isn't going to have any sort of positive effect. Think about it...if Honda could simply change the factory spark plugs they use and in turn get better gas mileage and more power, dont you think they would have done that already?
