Spark plug / Wire Recommendations for B18C.....« » Reply  Edit

Fixing to swap in this B18C into my EG Hatch, but I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to put a better set of plug wires, and obviously replace the plugs....

It's a completely stock engine, I just wanted something a little better than OEM plugs/wires. ANY RECOMMENDATIONS????

Thanks,
-Ant-

So just from the quick response from everybody, I'm guessing there's no benefit of buying lower resistance wires then at this point???

Can't go wrong on both plugs and wires with NGK.

There really is no point to running lower impedence wires and the multi-tip spark plugs. If your car is stock and in good running condition, you should have no issues with stock replacement parts. I know how tempting "better-than-stock" parts are, but there's no use paying for something which isn't going to have any sort of positive effect.

Think about it...if Honda could simply change the factory spark plugs they use and in turn get better gas mileage and more power, dont you think they would have done that already?
