do koni's come with spring perches to use a normal non koni specific coilover????i just bought a teg with complete shitbox suspension and i only have enough monies for the struts themselves and i already have some slip over coilovers....

You can't use coilovers with the Koni spring perches. It's dangerous. They're intended to be used only with stock or lowering springs. Coilover sleeves must properly capture and enclose the circlip on the damper body for safe operation. Only two coilover sleeve systems have this ability: Koni coilover sleeves, and Ground Control coilover sleeves.

i keep hearing about people using normal coilovers with them....is that just risky and not safe????so they do not come with a perch????i thought they came with a perch to go on the circlip????

Yes, they do, but it's intended for use with stock or lowering springs, not a coilover sleeve.

A call to Koni will net you the same information I'm telling you right now. They do not support the use of their spring perches with coilover sleeves.
