I have the same problem on one of my cars. I tried all types of window cleans and nothing takes it off.

i had the same problem i took a razor blade and some windex and it came off. Spray the window down with the windex and then hold the blade at a 45 degree and clean the window, No it wont scratch the window.

I tried both, but not at the same time. I will give that a try. Thanks!

Don't use acid on the front windshield!

Btw, 0000 steel wool works too.

I tried it and got nothing.

Out of the many different things I have tried, the steel wool was the most effective. It just takes a long time.

your automotive car wax..yeap the shit you used to wax your car..i've done it to mines. the window is sssoo cleeeaaaan and smooth afterwards. and no smudges or swirls or glears at all. give it a try and water beads up and rolls off and leaves no water marks.

To give a heads up, they might not be water spots, but acid burns instead (from acid rain). Nothing in this thread worked on mine besides fine steel wool.

Of course remember that a flat razor will remove or damage tint (in the event you're trying to remove it from the inside of the window on a tinted window).

Also be careful with the defroster lines.
