  any one make 215-45-R19 tires?« » Reply  Edit


so im looking for 215-40 or45-19 tires. for my element. i got 225 -35 and hate them. to wide and way too small side wall. but looking around and i cant seem to find any thing under a 225. anyone know who makes them? thanks

Your problem is that the wheels are too big. That's what's causing the short sidewall. So fix the problem, don't just try to work around it. Sell the wheels and get something smaller. Your car came from the factory with 16" wheels (215/70-16 tires) so you can increase the height of your sidewall by 1.5" by going back to the stock size, or by 1" with 17" wheels.

nope, not going to do that. thats giving up and taking the easy way out. nothing cool ever came from playing it safe and staying with what is easy to do. thanks

prob solved anyway the 225 fit ok still dont like the 35 side wall. ordering 225 45's and it will be perfect. thanks.

No, it's called doing things the RIGHT way. Instead of getting tires that are the wrong size, that may rub, etc. But hey, it's your car, and you're welcome to screw it up any way you like. I just don't know why you ask advice if you already figured out the wrong things to do to it.
