This morning when I tried to start the car I noticed nothing related to the ignition was working. The car doesnt crank at all, no dash lights go on, no radio,etc..no power to any of that at all. However the interior dome light and headlights work fine. I pulled the plastic off the steering column and all the wires appear to be in good shape.
Can someone PLEASE trouble shoot this for me...any advice on what to check and the order would be greatly appreciated.

1. the starter fuse under the dash was blown
2. The main ignition fuse in the engine bay was blown

I was able to get the car running and driving again, now i need to figure out what could have cause the fuses to blow. Any ideas??
