What else to buy to complete installation« » Reply  Edit

So i got eibach pro-kit springs and kyb agx struts for my 97 4 door accord. Other than replacing the stock springs and struts, what else should I consider buying to complete this suspension installation. Numerous sources have told me to also replace strut mounts, bushings, boots, so it can get pricey when you add all these other parts up, so I would like to know what is really necessary to replace other than if those parts are completely worn.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm a suspension noob but no one else is saying anything so... I'd check out some websites that sell Energy Suspension bushings and see what they have for your car, kinda see what's available and get an idea. I'd also look at some strut tower bars I hear they are pretty good stuff.

Haha you little noobs! Jk

Bushings and all those little things can be a pain to replace. If they look ok then leave em, if it aint broke dont fix it.

Tie bars and strut bars help, but adding sway bars will really help. Im not sure of the factory sway bar situation on accords but there's plenty of aftermarket sway bars out there. Pretty simple to install and will better improve your handling over strut/tie bars.

Oh and with lowering it may throw off your car's alignment, so get an alignment so your car will be stable at higher speeds and so your tires will last longer
