  AP2 Cluster in an EG6 - Help!« » Reply  Edit

Does anybody have experience with the AP2 cluster in a '92 EG6?

I can't get the door open lights to work. I can't get the Modifry ECT to work (Shows Full even when cold.) I can't get the fuel level to be accurate. (It showed half a tank when i knew i was running on empty. The swirling of the fuel causes the level to be erratic unless i disconnect the constant 12V to the cluster) Doing this makes me lose the clock and the speed will always reset to MPH when I need KM/H

Here is how i wired it. Do note that i wired it to a DC2 cluster plugs coz that was what i had in there before.

A1 – A7 – Not Connected

A8 - DC2 Cluster Illum

A11 – A14 – Not Connected

A9 – IGN 12V

A10 – Constant 12V (For my install A9 and A10 are always powered when I turn my key, not sure if this is correct. The race style key powers everything on.)

A15 – High Beam from my DC2 Cluster plug

A16 – A18 – GND (all on same wire)

A19 – Not Connected

A20 – A22 – Not Connected

B1 – B2 – Not Connected

B3 – DC2 Tach Signal wire

B4 – Not Connected at the moment.

B5 - Modifry ECT ( Shows my car is overheated when engine is cold )B6 - B7 - Not Connected

B8 – B9 – Not Connected

B10 – Fuel Gauge

B11 – B14 – Not Connected

B15 – B18 – Not Connected

B19 – SRS turned Off (Either 12V or GND)

B20 – GND (same as A16-A18)

B21 - EPS turned Off (Either 12V or GND)

B22 – Not Connected

B23 – DC2 Parking Brake wire

B24 – B25 – Not Connected

B26 – DC2 Alternator wire

B27 – Not Connected (Previous owner did not connect this wire when he put the DC2 cluster into my EG6 can’t find it in the loom)

B28 – DC2 CEL wire

B29 – B30 – Respective turn signals.
