Well this is my first "real" suspension I guess you could say.. I'm trying to figure out the right way to lower the car..what does the green arrow do? Should i be moving that shaft up or down? Do i need to make sure the spring is not loose where the black arrow is? HA i don't know..any help is appreciated

the green arrow in the pic points to the pre-load ring. If I were you I wouldnt mess with the pre-load because they usually come set properly from factory for your car. You lower and raise the coilovers using the ring pointed by the black arrow...

i think you got it backwards.... the green arrow for ride height, black arrow for prelaod.
