I bought this set of Ground Control coilovers used about 3-4 years ago. The guy I bought them from said he had them on his '95 EG hatch.

My new set of Koni Yellow's just arrived, but when I tried the GC's on them, they don't work. First there is no inner groove to sit on the circlips on the Koni's, but they are also way wider in diameter than the Koni's

Front sleeve length: 4"
Rear sleeve length: 5 1/2" (3 3/4" threaded)
Sleeve inner diameter: 2 1/8"
Koni diameter: 1 5/8"

Also, I've heard that before they started making Koni-specific GC's, they used to come with adapter rings to fit Konis. Any confirmation on this?

I don't have any instructions, I can't seem to find any on the GC website, and they haven't returned my e-mails. When I search here on H-T, every thread I can find is about a Koni/GC combo.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
