  D2 for DC2« » Reply  Edit

i have omni powers on my car. They are the street series (or whatever you call them). Want to upgrade to something else, adjustable and definitely a little stiffer. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about D2 like how reliable are they (quality). Second, how stiff do you think I can go without it skipping as I drive through town. Possible 11kg in front and 8kg in rear? Would that be pretty stiff? May or may not see track. Mostly dd and maybe some autoX here and there.

ive got d2's now ... the car isnt SUPER low.. but the suspension rides very stiff.. as my first set of coilovers i thought they were pretty nice.. but really wernt that great.. omni's are of about the same quality as d2.. and i prolly wouldnt go back to something like that.. right now im waiting for some skunk pro-c's to arrive.. try them out

Well my omnis arent stiff at all. They have kind of a firm hold but not as well as I would like them to be. I was in a 240 with megans on it and it handled a lot better. I also want the option of adjusting dampening. So you think skunk is a superior brand? We just have have a lot of d2 and megan around here.

So what do you not like about your D2s? what spring rates are you running?

yo juggsXdr, thast pretty low, looks good. any idea, by chance, if a da would sit that low on a set of d2s?

Your car does look rather nice. DO you know what springs you are on? I am thinking about ordering some with 10 or 11kg fronts and 7kg in the rear. I want to go stiff. My omnis are smooth. I just dont want to go so stiff that the car starts skipping when going over bad roads

I am not sure if you ever saw the black DA with the zero offset sportmax wheels (red with machined lip), it had d2 coilovers on it. I am pretty sure you will be good with the D2s
