With all this nice weather, I wanted to fire up the grill. Only problem is that I didn't have any charcoal, grill cleaning tools, or skewers. Off to wal*mart and the grocery store I went.

I also had the chicken, onion, peppers, and tomatoes to be used for kabob's tonight as well as the lighter fluid in the saddle bags. haha

With gas prices up and the weather good, the only time I drive is to work or to take the train.

Gotta be careful where you park at the store. I only park in the back or up front by the entrance.

^That's what I'm talkin 'bout. Did you carry all that on your bikes? I'm trying to find a good pic of my bike in "touring mode," I have my luggage rack, a tarp, a tent, my backpack, a hatchet, soft side cases, and some other stuff.

This is true.

And I'd like to add a sidenote; I hate when people's feet are in a picture.
That is all.

Be glad you got the Gen II FJR...my 2004 is slow-roasting me again. and its only gotten into the 80s here twice this year. i'm ripping the fairing off...again...

considering removing the catalytic convertors with an aftermarket header...which will alleviate a little bit of the heat....but the raditator blowing on the frame/tank/rider is the real problem and i dont know how to fix it. if i could get ahold of a curved radiator like you have maybe I could modify the airflow path myself....

i can see in the pics the fairing openings are much much larger, allowing most of the heat to go around the bike instead of through it. hmmm...
