I have a bit of critisizm for you

You are WAY too twitchy (it literally annoyed me soo bad that I had to stop watching the video) an you need to use a lower gear. You are running at like 3k rpm and have no throttle control when you are bogging the entire time. You are on a liter bike, use it, all of it.

Also, who cares if you get your knee down, you need to concentrate on a LOT more than touching a slider to the ground, like turn in, lines, HOW TO BE SMOOTH along with a BUNCH of other things.

Looks to me that your bike is capable, but you are not yet up to the capability your bike has to offer.

okay...thanx
i was on 2nd gear the entire time, and i was well above 3rpm. i guess i have to speed up a little bit. i still consider myself a novice, and i do not think i will ever be able to meet the fully capacity of the bike...but ur right it is bit twitchy but i felt comfortable...however i need to get the suspension adjusted and invest in a damper.
i am out there and enjoying riding, and improving a bit at a time...thank you for your "constructive critisim", but like i mentioned before i am an amatur but having a lot of fun, and dont really care if people are out there to put me down

if u ur referring to the chase bike, he's pretty quick and a lot better rider than i am
just that he did a favor filming me and my slow a$$ was slowing him down. i actually improved by following his lines when i was chasing him

oh, well that makes me feel a little bad.

LS, get your camera guy some riding lessons.......sheebus

Since that is the case, I would concentrate on turn in speeds and lines. Also, try not hanging off of the bike soo much. You look like you are TRYING to force your knee to the ground. Let your weight naturally find center when shifting it, don't force it. There is a lot more I am sure, but I cannot handle the twitchyness of the camera man's riding. It started driving me batty.

haha das cool

good critcism=improvment

i was not trying to force my knee down, i was surprised when it actually dragged, one question though...for example, when u r going into a left hand bend, how do you place your right foot? i know u are suppose to lock your right leg to the tank, but as for the foot do you place the ball of your foot on the peg, or just step on the peg with the center of your foot?

I always try to keep the balls of my feet on the peg. I move my foot a little for shifting or if I want to nudge the rear brake. I genrally try to keep my feet planted, ready to do a weight shift at any time. I have a tendancy to tuck my heels in a lot, butthat is because I am knock kneed. It helps me out sometimes and other times it hurts, like when my foot is pointing out and it hits the ground.

Heres my uber noob view point

Might just be the camera mount or something, but yeah, camera bikes turn-in and transitions seemed very jerky. I'm obviously still a novice, I was doing the twisties at 25 . But I do know from the track, smooth is fast, fast is smooth. Being twitchy with the throttle or steering inputs will unsettle a car very easily, and from my few hundred miles of riding, same goes for the bike

And I saw a few places where you adjust your line mid-corner, that's usually all bad. And on that note, there were a few places where you were squaring off your corners a la the racers line, and at other times, not so much, but following the lines of the road. Fastest way around any track/road requires ignoring the curved line and instead straight sections, turn in points, apexes, and exit points. Making the road as straight as possible as any instructor will tell you Obviously this is a lot different on the street, where there are cars, potholes, gravel patches, etc etc

yea i def need to work on my lines, no doubt about that, also need to build up my confidence in taking corners to stay in line.

anways, i feel comfortable with my riding position, however any helpful suggestions there?

Lol not from me. I know much less than most about actual riding technique, but going fast is kinda a universal thing

do whatever feels comfortable, work on lines and throttle control for the time being.
you'll start to notice body positioning and weight distribution more so, when you start picking up the pace. just keep at it and have fun and enjoy the ride.

thanx man!

soo much better w/o the wind noise. are you in 2nd gear majority of the time? do you use markers to get the apex right in the countless tight bends?
