i hope i posted this in the right forum but i just bought a new cluster gauge for my 94 integra and ive rewired all the wires correctly but this cluster you can switch between like amber green blue or white with a switch. this switch has a red and black cord hanging out which i assume is to power it i just have no idea were to run these wires (as you can probally tell i am new to this and im not much mechinally incline as of yet) a few people told me to run it to the battery but someone else told me if i did that it might overjuice it and kill the dam thing so could anyone give me some help as to where to run these?
