 Where should I mount and how do I waterproof my ballast?!

Alright, so I recently just got my 94-97 dc2 headlights retrofitted....right now, the bumper is off the car, new headlights are installed, but now I'm trying to figure out where I should mount my Valeo ballast!? Here's what they look like:

BUT, before I mount the ballast, I want to make sure they are safe from water/moisture and from whatever els that can damage them. As for mounting, you can see that the wires aren't very long so it's going to have to stay around the headlight region. Possibly mount them below the headlights? Any tips or suggestions anyone?

those are D1S bulbs??
people use potting ballasts or waterproof containers or make holes for mounting headlights....DC2 don't have big headlights...so you can't mount like OEM hid headlights(reusing the gaskets on the ballasts)...I use Mat gen 3 ballasts...these are potted from factory and water-resistant

and congrats for not using china made kits....too many ricer kids with hid kits...

So I just mounted them right behind the headlights for now.....Need to figure out how I should waterproof them though.

What do you mean by potting ballast? Know where I can find some waterproof containers?!

How much room is there under the internals of the headlight? Maybe you could cut a square out and mount them on the bottom of the housing, those ballasts are pretty thin as far as ballasts go. Mine are mounted right behind the headlights (Eh2 though). Never been wet after 4 or 5 years now.
