I get this cooing/whining/whistling (whatever you want to call it) sound that comes out of my engine, it randomly happens from 35mph-90mph only when i hit the gas. My mechanics do not know what it is, neither the acura dealership. has anyone else had this problem? (04 5AT)

Could be a loose/failing timing chain tensioner. Some members on one of the other boards have had these symptoms and that's what they turned out to be. One member's was so bad his chain jumped a tooth.
