Im painting with an Acrylic Enamel paint and im unsure if i should use a hardener or not...i see that they have hardener for the Acrylic Enamel paint should i get it and what are the ratios for it...thanks

To answer any question i went with this paint because a flatening agent was added to flaten out the paint for a Satin look...

another thing...whats a good filler or etching primer to use with this type of paint...

note i never used Acrylic Enamel before

The brand of the paint is Limco if that does anything...

Thanks H-T

Phone the manufacturer - best way to find out what to use with their paint.

Go to the BASF web site, the mfg of the Limco line. They have all the tech sheets. Limco LC4000 clear does use the LH400 series hardeners, that's odd you were able to buy clear, but didn't have hardener available. I would use Limco or RM Diamont line primers, I've mixed these lines in the past on low end, econo cars. I've cleared over RM Diamont base w/ Limco without any problems for example.
