Trust me.... It's gone as soon as I can get to a shop... (none open on Sunday, I tried...) The guy who had it took the knob and the dealer had a POS 5 speed knob that didn't fit and rattled as I drove 3 hours from Seattle back to Portland....  I had to stop at a 24 hour walmart at 1:30AM on the way and pick up a "Less-POS" shifter to stand driving the car any further. At least it doesn't rattle... It does look like crap and make shifting a pain... but, that's one more reason why I think there needs to be a 24/7 performance warehouse chain.... Every part, whenever we need it...

shhhhh don't tell him about the constant mis-shifts at redline or that i taught my grandma how to drive stick on it in the rain....not to mention i didn't change the oil in like a 15,000 mile time span

yea dude...and that i removed the rev limiter and drove around jdm style w/ a cone filter right off the throttle body, after i drained out half the coolant for weight reduction
