In the context of new FI bikes the reserver is simply the end of your tank that's indicated by a fuel light. And with .9 gallons left on the RC51 you can probably get yourself to a gas station.

What for? I have no problems handeling the bike. My friends ZX6R is just as quick and just as dangerous so what would be the point? Its not like riding a bike is difficult. I think the hardest thing is backing it out of a parking spot up a hill. But there is little things that I don't know about a bike like the fuel reserve but somehow that makes me unable to handel the bike is just an ill-advised statement to say the least.

The bike only goes as fast as you want it to. It doesn't take long for me to catch on to things like this and I've had very little issues so far. I mean we have probably rode about 8 hrs or so this weekend alone and we both do very well.

I've always been the one to start out big. When I was 11 instead of racing go carts or 4 cylinder cars, I started off in a V8 race class and finised 4th my first race. Then started winning my second full race season. I know this has nothing to do with driving a bike but I've always been the one to start out big and that way I can pretty much drive anything later on.

I thank you guys for your concern but I'm sure I'll be just fine.

This is why I don't like to ask questions on this forum, one question makes you into an idiot that has to ryhme or reason to own or even sit on a bike...just rediculous.

I know somethings get asked often and I tried searching for it up there and it came back with two responses but they were on totally different bikes, I think one might have been a cruiser or something so I figured I would ask to besure cause I don't want to be stranded.

I do appreciate you alls concern and I'm planning on taking the safty course as soon as I can just so I can learn a few more things. I actually had a guy at the dealer where I bought the bike to spend about an hour or so after work of his own time to help me and had another guy that my friend bought his bike from to give me riding information so I've learned alot in the few days that I've owned a bike but I know there is TONS of other things out there so sorry if my questions are redundent or have been asked a million times. I will try to search better.

Let just hope that if I do happen to wreck it, I'll still be around to fix it. But I'm very careful about riding. I'm not speeding or anything like that but its usually others that you have to watch out for. Anyways, I've been getting stuff like the "your going to die" speeches for the past week so I'm getting more and more paranoid, hopefully to make me a safe rider.

I hope your still around also... just an FYI from an old hack(28 years road and track experience)... at times you can be TO careful, road survivability to me consists of slight aggression coupled with caution. One of the greatest attributes a MC has over a car in terms of safety is its ability to accelerate out of dangerous situations before they can snowball into life threatening circumstances.
