It's a 4 cylinder EX Coupe. Cloth interior.

46k miles on the odometer and they're asking for $13k flat.

I took it out for a test drive today. The interior is not very clean for a 2006 and the dash (driver side) rattle sometimes/slightly.

They offer $9.6k for my 2006 civic DX Coupe as a trade in, which is the same price on KBB for trade in value.

In my part of the world, that particular car would sell for $13K with an automatic transmission.

For whatever that's worth.

From your description, I would judge that it is in "fair" condition.

the 2006 & 2007 ex coupe are going for around $17-18k here. $13k seems pretty low to me so that's why i'm asking. The interior is in fair condition for it being an 2006 model I guess.

There's oil leaking/seeping on the valve cover, i guess this is common for the k series motor?

No, not really common. However, it's not necessarily the sign of anything bad.

so you are going from a Civic DX to an Accord LX for $3400?-sounds like a good deal to me. Tell them you give them your car and $2500 just to see that they say. Civics are always hot on the used car market, so they shouldn't mind giving you at least 10k+ for yours. I wholesale them all day for over trade in value.
