I know 18" will fit with 40 series tires but do not know if 19" with 40 series tires will fit. I don't want to go too thin on the tire because the rims will get wrecked. The car is a white pearl and I'm looking for good quality rims - this is my everyday car. Do people have any recomendations? How can you tell the good quality rims from the cheap ones? What mfgs should I stay away from? What about offsets, etc.. If I go to a 245/45-19, do I run the risk of rubbing or throwing off the abs or speedometer? With regard to the offset, what do I need to know about this? I don't ant the tires sticking out the side of the car or rubbing. Any advise? I got 235/40/18 with a 35mm offset.
