  A-Spec Information - Part #s.« » Reply  Edit

Okay so in my quest to get a A-Spec parts list I have realized niether here, nor CRSX has a FAQ or guide or any sort of documented info, nor do searches turn up anything USEFUL. This is an almost complete list of A-Spec parts and numbers for the RSX Type-S. I am looking for some people's help on here to finish it off and then maybe it can be archived to prevent future threads like the ones I have been creating all week.

What I have gathered so far:

A-Spec Parts List

All numbers specific to NHBP color and 2002-2004 year model unless specified.

Front Under Spoiler - 08F01-S6M-230 - $319.20
Rear Under Spoiler - 08F03-S6M-230 - $256.00
Side Under Spoilers - 08F04-S6M-230 - $360.00
High Wing Spoiler - 08F02-S6M-230B - $399.20
(Aparently 08F02-S6M-230A belongs to Base RSX models, not sure why or how, but thats what I dug up online.)
A-Spec Suspension - 08W60-S6M-200 - $640.00
A-Spec Wheel (1) (2002-2004) - 08W17-S6M-201 - $193.38
A-Spec Wheel (1) (2005-2006) - 08W17-S6M-200 - $193.38

A-Spec Badge - 08F20-SEP-200A - $18.40 (Thanks dc5_lov3r)
Aluminum Shift Knob - 08U92-S6M-200B - $39.20
Titanium Panel Kit - 08Z03-S6M-200 - $199.20

I am still unsure of the italicized parts/part numbers. I think I have the right 2005-2006 A-Spec wheel part number, but maybe not the 2002-2004. Also, the part number listed for the shift knob says aluminum, but some people have told me the A-spec knob is titanium... can someone confirm one or the other?

Thanks!

The shift knob is aluminum, I should know I got three. Also your forgetting the Brake kit. It's rotors and pads. But I do not know the part number.

The brake kit AFAIK was not included in the 2004 Factory A-Spec car (yes, there were 500 FACTORY A-spec cars) however the brakes may have been an addition to 2005-2006... if it is, someone please help me out and post it up!

eh the brakes are overpriced anyways. I think you can still get most of the A-spec exterior stuff from http://www.acuraoemparts.com ...a.k.a. Del Ray Acura. Thats where i got my Wing from.

yes, there were 500 FACTORY A-spec cars

Proof? And this was only for 2004?

So you're saying that in 2004, 500 RSX-S's arrived on the US shores with the A-Spec package (directly from the Honda plant) and they had the window sticker to prove this?

Yes, someone on CRSX has one of them, let me see if I can find the link...

edit: Alright I sent the guy a message, to see if he has any proof. I personally don't care if they did or didnt come from the factory, but a few people over there swears they did and he says he has one... we shall see!

I care, because if they were built that way in Japan, you could potentialy use the A-spec version in SCCA SoloII stock classes.

But my guess is that the cat would have been out of that bag long ago had this been true. That's why I have my doubts, especially since it is a clubrsx poster

There used to be a kid in town that had a A-spec Type-s. He traded it in for a one of the new Jetta's

The local dealer to me had a handful of full A-Spec cars (full as in every A-spec option installed) in 04 when I bought my 'normal' Type-S, but they were all dealer-optioned and installed cars.

None of the A-specs came off the boat from Japan optioned that way, and that's the important part of the equation.

I see them on ebay all the time. Just ask the dealer for the part # as you want to verify fitment.

I won't likely go for the brakes... My car is already out of warranty (2002 model) and I don't plan on doing any performance mods, soooo.... I shouldnt need more braking power. If I did need more, I would hope that by now there are much better aftermarket options. If the A-Spec brakes are anything like the HFP brakes from the new 2006+ Si, then its practically a waste of money for a little showy brakes.
