Maintance Light *** how to turn it off

I think it's time for oil change on my car.
The maintance light comes on and flashs about 5 times after I start the car.

q?
1) what is the milage sevice intervals for the light to come on?
2) how do i turn the light off?

if u search there are alot of threads on how to turn it off.

for 03~07 accords, press odometer switch and hold it down. turn key to II position. wait 20+ secs. then turn off key.
