I am pushing around the idea of buying one of these when they are available. thanks.

Why no rear disc brakes and where is the massive moon roof that I saw in some other pics.

Doesn't the U.S. have the largest market for cars? Why do we always get cut short?

Glee!
Im building a custom RC check it out.

People generally buy small cars here in the states to save money. Not to pay for expensive options that arent really necessary.

If you want options, go for a Mini Cooper.

Yeah you have a point. Honda's are in a much different status circle in other coutries than in the U.S.

Sorry for being off topic/beating a dead horse:
My reasoning behind this comes from the 92-95 Si Hatches. The car pretty much targeted the same crowd minus two doors. Had four wheel disc brakes and a moon roof. If they did not have high theft rates I would buy another one.

Well, a 1995 Civic Si hatchback had an MSRP of $13,640.

Adjusted for inflation to 2007, that equates to around $18,850. Which happens to be around the same price as a 2008 Civic EX. Which is a class above the Fit.

For the hell of it I actually calculated it and it is about $100 off. lol That is rock solid. For valid points.

I would still opt for those features if they were available.

I hear what you are saying about options. It would be cool if Honda offered the new Civic hatch with the options that you are interested in (4 discs, moonroof, etc.)
