  2 255's in civic tank« » Reply  Edit

this weekend i tried to put 2 255 walbros in my fuel tank. to my surprise they would not fit side by side through the inlet of the tank. well shit
so here is what i came up with
one 300zx tank left over from a cell job and alot of patience
i cut out the inlet of the z tank

then fitted it to the honda tank

i'll post the picks of the hangar when i get it done
let me know what you think
btw i did 2 255,s because i had them laying around and couldn't afford a bosch
the plan is to run 2 -6lines to a y that turns to a -8 to an aeromotive filter

From a fab standpoint that is cool

BUT the drop-in dual 255 kit is pretty much hassle free.

The last time I checked, that mounting kit cost like $450 or something like that.

I guess you were adding the price of two pumps to the $299 bracket setup .

The SRT/EVO/DSM dual pump hanger brackets are much more expensive than the Honda hanger.

[QUOTE=fastcody1]well that sucks for me

[QUOTE]

Indeed it does, when I first looked at it I asked why would you do all that work? Then I realized you didnt even know the Full-Blown setup existed, that sucks man good luck with it, curious to see how it comes out. I run 2 255hp's but I just added an Inline.

Is it normal for a fuel tank to have rust on the inside like this?

the formula was a big help but it still doesn't prove that bigger bore is more compression if u break it down into kilo meter decimals

Looks like an awsome setup man!

I used some of those "adel clamps" on my EG when I was mounting my ABS sensor wires on my Blox lower control arms. They worked great and are still holding up.

update
i pulled the pumps to replace the alum fittings with steel ones and i was horrified to find the fuel line i used cracked open and cannot

it is brand new fuel injection hose turns out you cannot submerge it in fuel
so i replaced it with braided line

thank goodness i decided to replace those fittings
