Morning all,

Got just under 13k miles on my 07 Fit Sport and have been intermittently hearing noise from what I think is the front left wheel. It's a grinding/scraping type of noise that doesn't happen all the time. It can happen around town, or in traffic, but not all the time. Naturally, it doesn't happen when I bring it to the dealer.

Possibly related, i get some strange sensation occasionally when i step on the brake when driving over a speed bump or a pothole: The pedal feels like it's not connected to anything and there's a "fwoosh" noise - like gas escaping. Strange.

Anyone hear of these?? Thanks in advance.

I think I heard this noise last night, but same as you could not replicate it.
It happened while slowing down for a light, but I couldn't replicate the problem.
It sounded like a grinding of the brake rotor, but could not be replicated using the brakes in different ways.

new pads...i was hearing weird sounds from my brakes and i changed the pads and it went away so maybe its the same issue with you?
