actually it's all over the car but the main thing i'm concerned about is the windshield because it's fairly new maybe a couple of months. it's on my carbon fiber hood to but i can clay bar that out.

yeah you can just clay bar the parts that are on the car covered in overspray. But, for the windshield i would try a razor and some glass cleaner

Yep a razor blade, acutally a few of them, and some glass cleaner or soap and water to lubricate it...and then clay bar the windshield too...

Try real fine steel wool lubricated by glass cleaner, might be a little easier.

thats actually not a great idea, not only can it cause micro scratching of the glass it can trap small particles of the steel in the glass surface if there are any pits already and those particles will rust over time.

0000 Stainless Steel Wool? Nah, glass is tougher than this so it won't scratch it. Don't take my word for it though, I only use it everyday on glass. Look it up man! Google is your friend!

I do glass for a living, everyday as well, but hey what would I know I have only been in the industry for 12 years, and I have been around it 28( my father is the head of training and technical for the biggest autoglass replacement company in canada )... and the side glasses that are tempered are considerably softer than the windshield, and they scratch considerably easier.

Its a little late but you can use the clay bar on your glass to remove overspray too. I do it all the time. Just keep it in mind for the future.
