dude it's a honda...seriously as long as maintenance has been kept up, owner(s) didn't beat the piss out of it, clean title, etc....i'd offer 12,500...maybe 13k...and enjoy it

Full out agree man. I own a 94 Cav that has 189k and she runs beautifully. I take care of it, don't kill the thing, and she treats me right. Now imagine a honda with 100k less that has the same treatment? Yeah, its fine.

I want to say from honda..probably around 4k. There is a site though called hardtopguy that you can get a better deal at a brand new one though. Honestly though, if you want one, your best bet is to wait a lil bit and they pop up used for around 2k. Wish they were like 500 though

| Quote, originally posted by ATrin » | hello everyone. I'm looking into getting an S2K. There is 2000 one owner with 87,xxx miles on it and they're asking 13,9xx for it. My question is what is everyone's experiences opinions on S2K's with 85+ thousand miles? If maintained and taken care of how long will they last? I'm not one to spend alot of money on modifications, I just want a nice S that's reliable and fun to drive. Thanks in advance |
i got my s with about that much miles on it about 2+ years ago for 14k you can do better on the pricing, trust me. btw mine has every options from the factory except for the HT(ie: lock, oem optional alarm, changer, lip, spoiler, side strake, titanium knob, etc.), clean title, still under the 100k warranty. did i mention 2+years ago?

but they share the same internals?same crank, pistons design, rod lenght the only diff is the bore...right? and it makes same power at 500rpm less because of the bore size...?

2.0 w/ a warranty from honda.. you're looking at cars w/ the extended warranty only. the standard 3year warranty has expired on all USDM AP1s.
