OK, might as well load up my trail user's 5 posts! lol!

I know everyone wants to lower the Fit, well, my problem is that it's already lowered.
I usually have 500 lbs of camera gear in it so it's always ridin kinda low.
I'd like to raise the rear a bit. Maybe the front too?
Had to put air bags in the back of my Astro to get it up.

Plus, often I have to work in remote areas of the desert and have to get down some nasty trails to get there. I'm regularly scraping the front now.

Wonder if coil-overs in addition to the factory springs might be a way?

Anyone here carry LOTs of stuff in the back all of the time?
Found a good solution to get it back up

In for an answer. I'd love to get some extra ground clearance.

An easy solution would be to get wheels that are of a slightly larger total diameter. Of course, this will throw off the speedo, odometer, and can even affect the ABS system so I don't really recommend it.

if you have to carry 500 lbs of camera gear and sometimes have to get in remote places the question that comes to my mind is ...

WHY WOULD YOU BUY A FIT?

I have a website of a guy in South Africa, he has a Fit which has been modified for conditions over there. If I find it, will post. You simply need to throw some money at the problem.

You could find some really stiff coilovers that can be raised to stock height. The stiffer spring rates will yield less sagging when you load it up.
