I've been looking at the 04 and 05 TL's and have a some questions about them...

-Is there anything in particular i should know about these years?
-Any recalls?
-Tranny issues? Rattles/ creakings?
and lastly, can you please tell me the pro's and con's of these two years?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have an 04.

Are you looking for an auto or a manual?

Ours is a auto. It is still fairly quick though and overall a very nice car.

Some of the auto tranny's go bad after a while.

The only rattle we have is in the center console cubby. The upper one rattles.

Looking at automatics.

Can anyone tell me of any cons of owning an 04/05 TL? Any issues with this gen?

I own an 05 AUTO. I love it. If you have a heavy foot it can eat some gas. But other than that no complaints so far!
