plays no defense and has no J. he's not even on the level of Kobe Bryant

I just thought of something, close your eyes picture your g/f screaming his name out as he's laying on top of her biting her neck just going to town.

That will help you get over it.

glad i got to watch him as much as i did when i was younger.

Im not a lakers fan but i got to say kobe is pretty exciting to watch.

His cominbation of size, strength, and speed give him an unlimited amount of tools to choose from. However what made Jordan "The Greatest" was his work ethic, his drive to win, was a determined defender, and the fact that he was always a decent shooter. LBJ still isn't a good shooter and his numbers really aren't rising significantly. Of course he's young and that may change. He'll undoubtedly go down as one of the best when all is said and done but there's a reason why even Kobe couldn't touch MJ's status.

I didnt REALLY appreciate how good jordan was growing up since I was too young to really understand the game, then I watched his stuff on youtube and I was blown away. scoring at will, illusive roaming defense, etc. he took games over. he was doing moves back then that nobody has ever seen before.

and just think if the hop-step was around when Jordan played

he would have scored 45 a game.

there will never be another jordan.

kobe is as close as it gets so far, kobe has surpassed some of mj's records but just the fact that jordan is the original and kobe is a creation from that he will always be 2nd. kobe is the most exciting player to watch right now.

edit:

I would like to add that lebron isn't exciting to watch. he scores a lot because of his crappy team. remember kobe going off 40-50 up to 81 points when he had a crappy team two years ago even last year wasn't that great.

on a brighter side, lebron is still young so he has a of time to improve his overall game. in a way he's following kobe's steps.

Jordan is Jordan, Lebron is Lebron. He's gonna be the next big 23 Lebron.

Kobe??? WTF are you people talking about?

Kobe might put up some insane numbers, but no way in hell is he to be compared to Jordan.

See there is this little thing called class and respect for the game that Kobe has proven that he lacks. Jordan brought a lot more to the game than just dunks and great numbers. Those extra little things that Jordan brought to the table are things that Kobe will NEVER, EVER, reproduce.

Back on topic: No he is not the next Jordan. Though he slices to the rim just as easily as Jordan used to. It's scary how fast Lebron explodes to the rim. He will easily cut thru 3-4 defenders like they are H.S. kids.

not only did the hop step not exist in the Jordan-era, but hand-checking was also legal back then. It was harder to score back then.

LOL Kobe and Lebron get calls all the time.

Kobe is the next closest thing to Jordan. Lebron is his own beast and isn't the same type of player.

get outta here. even if lebron reaches his max potential he'll still never be the shooter or defender jordan was. not to mention all the clutch moments he'll have to have to reach jordan's level.

LMAO do you not watch basketball in the current day? Players get away with alot more stuff on offense now. Defenders get away with less.
