I used to own a 93 civic with a built b16b turbo... i then crashed that and now im driving a slow ass 2000 clk.
I want to come back to honda, and im looking at TSXs...

Im wanting to get a k24 as i THOUGHT i could put a k20 head on it and the turbo it....
I then heard that its not easy, or not possible to turbo a tsx.

Now why is this?
I heard cars of 04 and below are able to use hondata? and that newer TSXs were not able to do so?
Is there not enough space in the engine bay?

Can someone please clear this up for me?

So as know one has replied ill just take that as a no?
So the TSX cant be easily turboed and is just not gd for speed then?

Getting the car outfitted w/ the turbo, etc. is not the problem. It's the engine management/tuning/fact that you lose A/C, VSA, gauges, and other comfort/safety features. That's the real issue.

04-06 hondata makes a reflash cept the 05 auto I think... but that's only a reflash theres no real fuel management for tsx's like kpro available makin it near impossible... so too answer ur question it not easy to turbo... but then again comptech makes a supercharger but nothin close to what a turbo can do...

hmmmm... That is very very annoying. Thats a shame as the TSX is such a nice looking car, it should have the power to back it up.

What about a direct 100 shot of nitrous? I cant remember iftuning is neccesary? its a gd idea to retard the timing... Nitrous is new teritory for me. But if you guys say its possible then ill look into it furthur.

TIP: K20 head with Kpro

or just swap a K20 motor/tranny and stroke the block to a 2.2 or something

Its not as simple as just swapping a k20 head. If you plan to run kpro your gonna have to swap the throttle body and run the throttle cables.

Like said before your ac, radio, power steering etc is not going to work.
