need help - Newbie - 2008 Honda Civic LX Price
I am a newbie shopping for a new 2008 Honda Civic LX. Below is the quote I got from a dealer.
MSRP - $18395
Total Selling Price - $16900
Total - $18155 (inclusive of tax, registration, license etc)
Total price also includes splash guards and premium paint protection.
Would like to know if this is a good deal. Also please advice on how to bargain so that I can end up on a lower price.
Thanks.

I would like to bargain still further. Please advice me on how to go about it.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Honestly....there's really not much to bargain about. It's a brand new '08 model. If it were an '07 left over then maybe you would have a little more room to bargain....but not on an '08.

its a reasonable deal like RICO_ said.
if you want to bargain more, i suggest trying to get fog lights installed for that price. thats like $400 to have honda do it.

Go to another dealer at the end of the month. Look at all the salesmen and find the one who looks like a loser about to lose his job. He'll have the smallest desk, away from the center of the floor, and he'll have NO "salesman of the month" certificates. Just pictures of his wife and kids on his desk. And older than middle age. Young 20 somethings dont give a ****. He'll deal....at least it'll put some bread on his table. Sorry...but that's the truth about the car business.
