wow that came out amazing! I planned on rttle canning my whole car, but didnt expect that panels could be made as uniform as you have! Good job. What kinda of paint are you using? Are you going to clearcoat over top? Had sanding between the layers made a major differance to the shine?

Hey post what materials you're using. That looks fantastic for a spray can job. My friend wants to do this same thing with his EG coupe and it would be great if his came out half as good as this!!!

how many cans did it take for that one fender? im guessing like half of a can? did you sand it down to the metal before you put on the primer? did you primer? if you clear coat it will it be shinny? cuz my friend wants to paint his whole car. and he doesnt have money for a big paint job, so he should do this.

You're wasting your time sanding in between coats with 800/1000 grit. I would sand with 600 in between coats, then sand the final coat with 1000, then 1500/2000 if you're not lazy (like me).

do you want to know what color underwear he was wearing when he painted the car?go to walmart and find out how much it costs and if you read the first thread it told you, step by step, exactly what he did. he sanded and he STILL has to buff and wax it.

props for giving it a go and all, i dont think the fan a rattle can gives off is enuff for big areas such as pannels. i think youd be beter off doing the roller method even so that doesent give off the best finesh, will you be using a clear coat?
