To awnser your First and Second question here are the awnserQuestion 1= Yes, seemingly looks okay Question 2= Thats the JDM Solenoid of some kind. In USDM they keep those on the fire wall. You wont need that. Just plug your FPR into the Vaccum port on the front of the Plennum. Shouldnt be more than 4 inches away from the FPR

that is NOT the map sensor.

Well I did search the valve and I knew what it was, more or less I was just seeing if anyone has come up with a reason to keep it yet. Would be nice if someone could modify it to work as an adjustable FPR.

Everything under my valve cover was black, everything in the motor has carbon buildup badly, wtf.I guess you get what you pay for(from tigerjapanese.com).

The only problem I had with the engine was that the bracket that valve is mounted to was broken and one of the tabs on the shifter boot was missing. Hmotors was even kind enough to unbolt the TPS and tuck it under the manifold to make sure it wasn't broken.

as for the shifter cushions, you can either replace them with metal washers, or get a shorter bolt, their not really needed....

Sorry to pull this one from the graveyard but I have an update and a few questions.I tried ordering the rubber shifter plate bushings from a local dealer but the metal collar was on backorder. I figured I'd try my luck with Majestic to see if they had any in current stock but still no luck. I am waiting on the rubber pieces of the bushings to get shipped to the local dealer. Not going to do me any good without the collar. So out of the the two options suggested by previous replies what would be the best solution? Would I honestly see any negative effects of bypassing the rubber?

just mount it with shorter bolts . I did mine that way , it is actually better. There is no movement in the baseplate now.

I might just go buy the shorter bolts and four thin plastic/rubber washers just to help it seat and absorb at least a little bit of vibration. Do you remember the size and thread pattern of the bolts? Mine didn't come with any of them.

So just ditch all the rubber and buy shorter bolts with a big washer?
