OK, so I have a 92 Vigor GS. Didn't want to have the poor, pathetic excuse of a lip (see picture below) that comes on the Vigor. I wanted something more aggressive, bigger, etc. So I said hey...why not go with a CD5 (94-97 Accord) lip?? Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of the process to get the CD5 lip to fit, but I do have pictures of the end results. The lip was too long so it hit the wheels and protruded from the front, so I had to dremel the ends off. Some other dremeling here and there. Nothing with the width though....width is perfect. There were some fitment issues - ie: I put in two bolts in the front middle of the lip to hold it to the bumper and the amount of space you have to work with under there is very limited. Pair of vice grips to put the bolt through the top while you fasten a nut from below, etc. etc. And 6 self tapping screws were used. End result is satisfying but I'm probably going to go back in a few days and clean it up some....started to rain on me so I called it good for today. As far as I know, nobody has done this before....at least I haven't read about it, so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

i have thought about putting a new lip on my vig but i still havent found one with the results i want.
I do think that CD5 lip is a marked improvement though.

let me know if you get the front foglight out, i've tried on mine and it seems impossible without taking the headlight out too.

you should not have to remove the headlight, Do you have the factory service manual for the vig yet? if not i will show you where to Download it.

got it. my car sits as it is, without grille or the three foglight screws. i asked a club mate and he told me that it's secured to the plastic bit with rivets, i haven't tried yet, but I think im gonna have trouble clearing the top of the bumper when pulling the foglight straight out and getting a good hold on the thing.

any pointers?

I'm changing out that yellow foglight tomorrow....it looks like it's just held in there by two screws, but there could be something else holding it in....haven't tried messing with it yet.

Changed the foglight. I see what you mean about it not coming off. If you remove the two screws from the top and the one from the side, the light wiggles around. There's a small metal "nipple" on the back side, bottom corner holding the light in. Pull hard on the foglight and the nipple will pop out of the hole, and there you go....foglight removed. I crimped up the new foglight since I couldn't use the old cap due to mud/rust being on the inside of the light. Shit looks good now. Before/after pics below, and some good lip shots too.

unnecessarily huge, but nice none the less.
throw some 1- pieces on that whip now.
And we need to do a NW vigor meet. Somehow most of the vigors ended up in the northwest.

Yea I forgot to click resize when I was uploading them. Oh well. I have another thread around here showing the 9005 conversion I did. Oh and CC2's will be on the car in about 2 or 3 weeks...my work schedule is hectic and the weather isn't being too kind. Damn Washington......and I'm game for a Vigor meet. It's crazy, I didn't see a single Vigor on the road until I got mine. Now I see them all the time.
