Miami had their first spring scrimmage on Thursday night. It was called due to lightning but it was nice to hear about Miami throwing the ball around. They didn't have an official stat keeper but Marve finished 12 for 16 for 89 yards and Harris 11 for 14 for 80 yards. Cannon Smith was 2 for 4 for 50 some yards. The best part is that none of the QB threw any picks. Going to be very interesting this year with 3 freshman QBs vying for the job (I think Marve has the advantage) and an all around young team.

Miami is going to be VERY good in 2009, this year I think it will be a 8-9 win season. hopefully there will be an upset here in Canesville

I will be very satisfied with a 8-9 win season. I don't expect them to become a national championship team overnight; I would just like to see steady improvement from the last two years. Now if only the Dolphins could give me something to be this excited about.

In my opinion I think they could go anywhere from 7 wins to 10. Just so many questions when a bunch of young guys playing in some important roles. Best of luck to the Canes this year.

Thanks. I'm just glad we don't have to play you guys. If Georgia continues in '08 like they did the last half of '07 they are going to be [freak]ing scary. Legitimate national title contenders.
