Happy to see Strahan win and Seau not win. Sad to see Moss not win.

The first half under covered.

That's all that matters to me in the end.

They shouldn't have gotten rid of Greg Williams, he will make a nice HC or DC for some lucky team.

Im happy the G men won, and Shockey was out, and Tiki.

I was really rooting for them. But next year my eagles will have to crush them.

Pats needs.

#1. A new OC, playcalling in the SB was attrocious beyond words, it cost them the game imo.
#2. ILB, it'd be nice if it were a speedy ILB for once too.
#3. An edge pass rusher at OLB (I think Colvin is gone)
#4. Secondary help

Well luckily for the Panthers it's a very doable draft/offseason as far as needs go.

1. Franchise LT- Let's face it, the Panthers oline gives our backs no help in the run game and a good OL never hurt anything. Can be addressed via draft since LT's are very deep this year.
2. Veteran WR2- with the rumors that Roy Williams might get traded, it's a good shot we could end up with him for a second rounder and it would be a huge boost to our team. If he becomes unavailable then there are a plethora of good candidates (Bryant Johnson for example).
3. Rush DE- since Rucker is most likely retiring and Peppers having diminished performance last year (supposedly due to an STD) we need to deal with our lack of pass rush. There are a few good DE's in FA as well as the draft.
4. FS- If we managed to snag a capable FS our secondary would be very strong and could make up for some of the deficiencies in the pass rush, especially if Chris Harris keeps developing. Possible in 3rd/4th round of the draft.
5. FB- Owen Schmitt, Owen Schmitt, Owen Schmitt, Owen Schmitt, Owen Schmitt, Owen Schmitt, Owen Schmitt, Owen Schmitt, Owen Schmitt, Owen Schmitt, Owen Schmitt, Owen Schmitt, Owen Schmitt, Owen Schmitt.

OC will only get better, he did good during the regular season but he did struggle in the SB
Is Colvin a FA this year? And even if he isn't we could use some younger, faster LBs
And we definitely need a corner or two. Asante won't be sticking around

You guys may have to overhaul your entire defense cause it looks like you'll be down 2 ILB's, 1-4 CB and 1 Saftey. Also Randy Moss made a few disparaging remarks about the team yesterday so don't expect him to be signing a new contract either.

What STD does Peppers have?
You can have Javon Kearse and Darren Howard from us

Eagles NEED :
CB / Kick Returner
Playmaking Receiver - (Hopefully CJ, Fitz or Roy)
Another DE Pass rusher to help Trent Cole's beastly ass.
Draft LT or RT...Runyan and Tra Thomas are great, but age-ing.

Our DT are both young and studs.
Our LB Corps is deep as hell and VERY young. (Except Spikes, who is good veteran)
We have A good Secondary, Lito needs to stay healthy, and we need a better nickle corner...and a future replacement for Dawkins.

Offense... We need a playmaker...period.
A REAL #1 Receiver , Curtis and Reggie Brown is a good lineup.
Groom Tony Hunt to be a elite short yardage guy. Westbrook will still get 20+touches.

I think LJ Smith might stick around becuase he didnt help his value all year being hurt. So thats good for us, but if he doesnt, we need a better replacement. Esp Blocking.

If we get a playmaker, I really think the eagles will contend for NFC East next year, Mcnabb looked stellar his last 3 games. And our Defense was great all year except one game. They are all very young..and will only get better.

GO BIRDS!

Default Re:

Chargers need:

1. O-line. We need a stud right tackle and right guard. Goff just isn't as good as he was before. Clary filled in nicely for Olivea but depth along that O-line would be nice. Notice how all our runs go to the left side, yeah, a little variety might help LT out a bit.

2. Safety. Clinton Hart and Marlon Mcree were the weakest link in our superior secondary, or out of the entire defense for that matter. Eric Weddle showed signs of greatness during the season but more consisntency and a ballhawk/missle projectile in a free safety would only help that solid young secondary that is already in place.

3. D-line. It's hard for me to face the music, but Jamal the Wall is getting older and more prone to injury. Our once feared rushing defense fell greatly last year to near the middle of the pack. Olshanksky and Castillo will need more depth behind them to create competition and get them to play at their highest level.

Other probable needs.

Nickelback. Florence is gone in the offseason but his ability to blow coverages and create boneheaded penalties makes me not miss him one bit.

Back-up veteran qb. Volek is probably gone after this season.

Back-up running back. Michael The Burner Turner will be making lots of money next year on some other team and we'll need a back capable of giving Tomlinson a breather, though that's not a knock on Sproles one bit. We need another bruiser.

Not so probable needs.

Kick-off specialist. Those kick-offs that Kaeding had against the Patriots constantly landed at around the 10-15 yard line. Given that he was playing on a broken fibula, I'm not, and shouldn't be, to harsh on him. The Charger staff may feel different.
